The web of destiny is a complex weave and sometimes its myriad paths can be unfathomable to predict or second guess. Such is the way of the world of Dormus, where the DestinyQuest books are set. Fated heroes may rise and fall, but the weave will always continue to spin regardless, creating new stories and adventures.

Two updates in one week, has the world gone mad? Well, perhaps. Or maybe I have. I floated an idea around with the community about splitting my next book into two. I wasn’t sure of the response, but in my heart, I felt like it was the right decision for the characters and story. Thankfully, the overwhelming response has been positive.

Okay, I’ve been teasing this for some time now – but at last I am very proud (and ridiculously excited) to officially announce that DestinyQuest: The Roleplaying Game will be coming to Kickstarter early next year!
The Italian Job
First off, sorry that news has been scarce this year. It’s been an odd year, all things considered – as I think we can all attest to. I’ve also had many work projects that have eaten into my time, so I’ve not had a chance to sit down and start penning DestinyQuest V yet. But rest assured that I keep a notepad handy, and I am always scribbling down ideas in readiness.
Phoenix rises from the ashes
I think it’s fair to start off with an apology. An apology for this year. That might sound odd as I finally released Book IV of the DestinyQuest saga – The Raiders of Dune Sea – in my opinion the crowning glory of my game writing so far. But I am sure, as fans and kickstarter backers are aware, it was a tough process – with me unfortunately falling foul of a disreputable publisher, who – despite my best efforts (and money) to rectify and fulfil promises – still decided it was okay to burn me in the end.
