The World Companion is funded!
The DestinyQuest World Companion launched on 17 May and within four hours was successfully funded! What's more, shortly after, it was awarded a Kickstarter 'Project We Love' medal that awards certain hand-picked creative projects. That was a great honour, as this is the first Kickstarter that I have personally planned and run. The Kickstarter is running for 30 days, until 16 June.
For those who don't know, The World Companion is a guidebook to the world of DestinyQuest, providing background lore, stories, biographies and other fascinating details that will give fans and readers plenty to delve into.
Over the course of the Kickstarter, we have also managed to unlock the atlas bonus section. This adds a world map and 8 zone maps to the book, as well as 9000 words of content that provides an exciting tour of the many regions that make up the Kingdom of Valeron. This book really will be a treat for DQ fans!
The Kickstarter is also offering a number of stretch goal rewards, including art postcards and loot cards. All backers get to benefit from these amazing collectables, so if you have not had chance to pledge yet, then I urge you to do so - so you don't miss out!
