Re: Broken stat?

So for what it is worth, I figured it out. As stated, speed is necessary to keep high or medium. A high speed character would likely be a rogue, and depend on beating the opponent every round. A medium speed character would have high brawn or magic to be a brute fighter or a powerful mage. I have gone with medium speed, medium attack power, and max armor. This means you can basically be a tank warrior or mage. I then have abilities like charm, trickster, webbed, haste, etc that can get me wins on the first few rounds, then it's a matter of law of averages. They may beat me a few times but my armor is so powerful that they'll do minimum damage and hopefully you've riddled them down enough that throw in bleed or lightning you can just survive until they die on their own, also throw in some speed and/or healing potions for the time when the dice gods hate you.. Ive found this the most satisfying character so far.
So speed is a vital stat, but I've decided that it isn't game breaking, just encourages creativity.
