Hi,
Is the stories of the destiny quest book 1 to 4 interlink with each other? That is, can i not play book 1 and go straight to book 3 and still understand the stories of book 3 (or book 4)?

Each book is its own self contained adventure, so they can be read in any order - but there are recurring characters and references to previous books, but you don't need to be aware of that really. The books do not require any previous knowledge.
As the first book is the 'weakest' in the series, I often advise people to jump straight into Bk2, and then Bk3. Then go back if they wish.
