Rerolling special dice (e.g. Wormwood)

Is it possible to use charm to reroll a special die like the one for soft spot on Wormwood?

I would say yes, in that you are technically still rolling for your hero (to cause damage to the monster). I can see how that could be argued either way though!
However, to make it easier to implement for the interactive version you could simply ignore the possibility of a die roll altogether and make it a percentage chance that your potential combat roll is deflected, with suitable text to feedback to the player.
