Notes: Rogues are generally held up as the best characters, but I really like this warrior. His defence is so aggressive, with the excellent overpower, brutality and deflect meaning that the first three times he loses a combat round the opponent takes 2d damage. Factor in shield spin (which works really well with leech) and he does a lot of damage without even winning a combat round. But he is no slouch at winning those with a decent base speed and abilities like trickster and courage.
