Recurrent player characters

A quick question. I know that the player character of Legion of Shadow appears in The Heart of Fire (well, sort of). Do other player characters appear in other subsequent books? Thanks

There is a downloadable bonus/alternate team battle encounter for The Eye of Winter's Fury, where you can team up your character from Heart of Fire with the hero from EoWF. This was a bonus download though, so does not appear in the book.
