Eye of Winter's Fury has a section near the end where you record the keyword survivors, based on meeting some people who crashlanded a balloon. However, I couldn't find a spot where that makes any difference. Has anyone found a way to use it?

I think its if you go back if memory serves me correctly. You can only get to visit the vendors once.
