We got velocity!
Well, the DestinyQuest Tour kicked off in style with my first two signings in Sheffield. These signings really meant a lot to me, as Sheffield is where I was born and raised – so always nice to have the chance to revisit the city and get back to my roots. Both signings were a great success – which I am rather relieved about, as I was a little nervous, it has to be said! But I was quickly put at ease by fans of all ages (from 10 year-olds to 60-year-olds!) who all share a common interest – game books.
DestinyQuest vs. the World - FIGHT!
A word of advice. Don’t try and launch a book, attempt to plan the sequel, write download content, deal with a towering pile of freelance work, and move house… all at the same time. My current ‘thousand-yard’ stare and gaunt expression is starting to scare small children. Even the cats don’t come near me – they just circle around me nervously, offering the occasional ‘purr’ in the hope that I will remember to feed them. Oh foolish felines!
