Have no worries Kpuff, the books are written for ages 12+ (and I have even had some readers/fans younger than that). There is no sexual content at all (well, okay - there is a kiss in book three...) and any violence is set within a fantasy context. Book three is probably the most adult of the three, with a slightly darker tone and some scenes that are a little more hard-hitting in a graphic sense - but nothing that I hope would cause anyone offense.

I'm thinking of getting one of these books for my daughter for Christmas. However I am selective about what I let her read. I don't have a problem with some fantasy violence, but I would rather she didn't read any sex scenes. Are there any in these books?
